LONDON FALCONS 'A' 14
AFC LONDON 0

It’s a complete whitewash as the A stars finally grab top spot!

Falcons crucified eight-man AFC London to lead West Middlesex Division Four for the first time this season.

The under-prepared visitors hardly got a kick as Sam Elliott’s team got the nine goals they need to wrestle top spot from Hampton Village.

It was one-way traffic throughout as Scott Boulden grabbed an astonishing seven goals to take his tally to 20 in under half a season.

There were two goals for the player-manager, substitute James Feast opened his Falcons account with a brace as did Antony Wright, scoring one in off the post to break his duck.

Earlier, Marcus Correia maintained his record of scoring a goal every game from midfield and new boy Will Price also found the target – a cute shot into the bottom left-hand corner in the second half.

The manager was naturally delighted to go to the league’s summit.

He said: “We didn’t discuss how many goals we’d need to overtake Hampton before because we thought it wouldn’t happen. As soon as we started scoring I knew we’d get the nine so it’s great to be sitting on the top of the table but tougher tests are coming.”
