The team is set up to help support both the WMSL and GFSN teams. At the same time the team serves to give local football to members. On spare weekends training and friendly matches are arranged.

The LUFL team will compete in the London Unity Football League and the London Unity Football League Cup in season 2008/09.

PLAYER REQUIREMENTS...
• Players are required to be able to commit as best as possible to the fixtures and training sessions set.*

• There is a London Falcons Sere Windbreak training top which is included in the membership which players are required to wear to training and matches.

(* Players who cannot meet these requirements every week, please talk to the team manager. We do make allowances for people who have work and other special commitments.)

London Falcons Football Club is a community based club, therefore we accept people from all walks of life regardless of Ethnic origins, sexual orientation and faith. Any player who joins the club MUST agree by these terms before joining.

The LUFL team were 3-2 down at the break, but rallied strong and came out of the game with a 5-3 victory to take into the second leg. Gary Britnell scored a hat-trick with Sam Elliott and Felipe Alves scoring the other goals.

As rain bucketed down, it wasn't enough to batter the spirits of the new look Falcons LUFL team. Matt Riley, Gary Britnell, Sam Elliott and Kieran Evans scored the goals in this good tempered game. We'd like to welcome Phoenix FC to the footballing world and look forward to playing them in a couple of weeks for the Preliminary Round of the LUFL Cup.
