Richard
Cowell transfers from London Titans
London Falcons is pleased to confirm the transfer
of Richard Cowell from London Titans to London
Falcons. Richard is the fifth transfer of the
season, following Chris Maughan, Jamie Okaro
from Romans, Alex Bryce from Stonewall and Tony
Kerr from London Titans.
Cowell (27) played mostly in central midfield
for the Titans, occasionally playing in defence
and attack also and scoring four times in the
Argentina IGLFA World Cup.
Cowell had previously played for Stonewall Football
Club 1st team, mainly in central midfield.
Richard Cowell said: 'Titans were good to me
and I enjoyed the short spell I had there. The
new season with Falcons brings exciting fresh
challenges that I'll strive to contribute to".
It means he teams up with his former Titan team
mate Tony 'Chav' Kerr who had this to say: "Richard's
a very aggressive player and brilliant anywhere
on the pitch".
Manager Craig Randall made these comments: "We
welcome Richard to Falcons and we hope he finds
the club what he's looking for. Richard posses
many skills and has already proven he can play
in most positions at Titans which will make
him a good addition to the squad. With the squad
at the moment and so many people fighting for
team places it's becoming more and more exciting
and is forever pushing the club towards being
one of the best teams in the country.
