Tony
Kerr transfers from London Titans
Falcons Football Club is pleased to confirm
that Tony Kerr aka 'Chav' has transfered from
from GFSN and LUFL side London Titans.
Kerr (21) who is comfortable playing in midfield
or in attack, has spent the last season with
London Titans, playing mostly in defence and
a couple of times in attack where he scored
two goals, both against Stonewall in a friendly
prior to the Argentina World Cup.
Tony Kerr said: “Leaving the Titans has
to go down in my own personal history as one
of the hardest things I've done, because I won't
just be leaving a group of players I
will be leaving some of my best friends (yes
that does include you Gez) who I will have so
many fond memories of, but I felt it was
my time to move on to fulfilll my own goals
in the GFSN and the world of football (lol).
My first game for the London Falcons was against
Nottingham Ball Bois, the team made me feel
right at home, but don't get me wrong my nerves
were at an all time high. I think it was mainly
due to the fact that I couldn't hear Luka's
voice lol! But once the game had started my
nerves had settled and that's when I finally
started to get into the game, and lucky
for me I had a brilliant chance that I
just couldn't miss, thank f*@k I didn't otherwise
i would of heard the Titans from Argentina shouting
"are you Coady in disguise". Anyway,
I would just like to say a massive thank you
to the London Titans for an absolute wicked
year that I will never forget, and a special
thank you to Luka who introduced me to the GFSN oh
and one more thing "GET YA RAT OUT"!
Craig Randall said: “Tony is a quality
player, making him a terrific addition to our
squad. Having already played as a guest for
us recently vs Nottingham and Brighton, he is
hard working, he has the aggression, awareness
and creativity needed and is comfortable playing
in the middle, wide midfield areas of the pitch
and in attack.”
